550 Paracord is made in the USA and originated as parachute cord for the military!

 

Paracord is made of nylon and is rot, mildew, abrasion, and UV fade resistant.

Each cord contains 7 internal strands and has a minimum breaking strength of 550 pounds.         

 

That means a regular 3-strand braid can withstand 1,650 lbs of force! All of our products use a minimum of 4-strands in their braids, usually more, meaning that you can feel safe using them on even the naughtiest horse.
